has said DOMA is against the constitution
so if you have a hang up about marriage being hetero only
the writings on the wall and you will soon be very lonely
so the Defense of Marriage Act is unconstitutional
and this will now go to the Supreme Court & that will be final
it will be interesting what those justices say
meanwhile the privatized space race is up up and away!
Space X landed safely in the ocean and was picked up by a 185 foot barge
meanwhile Charlize Theron says she'll never get a face lift
and today is a 3 day holiday which I will now list...National Macaroon Day, Save Your Hearing Day, and World No Tobacco Day...we shall dive into all three today.

Meanwhile Obama called Romney to wish him congrats
on being the GOP nominee but I am sure that's
the nicest thing the two will say about each other
as we get into an election year that's going to be a mother
and did you know San Francisco has become a mecca for musicals?  Not that I'm adding to that with these lyrics.
We missed Memorial Day and Composting Day
But Water a Flower Day is underway...if I didn't water our lawn and house plants they'd all be dead...I think that goes for the dog too.

meanwhile Guiliani says he's better than Mitt
because it appears some people's ego's don't quit
and the Avengers has finally lost to Men in Black
I guess it's true that Will Smith is back!
And Tommy Lee Jones though he's being replaced by a younger Josh Brolin
today is Sun Screen Protection Day
so put some on and don't burn away...despite the dangers young people are still tanning...and prematurely aging...get ready for the "THEY LOOK OLDER THAN YOU BUT THEY'RE NOT" generation!

Not really.  I get a bit motion sick and I have this addiction to Earth oxygen.

they claimed their toning shoes made people lose weight which it does
not do so I guess sketchers should be renamed as "sketchy" and we should lose weight normal ways like eating less.

today of course was Mother's Day and it first started in 1908
we celebrated with my mother-in-law eating brunch really late
today is also Leprechaun Day which makes no sense I feel
St. Patricks Day was 2 months ago so what's the deal?
And it's Frog Jumping Day which doesn't have to do with Mark Twain except he wrote a cool story about jumping frogs.
In other stuff have you noticed how TV intro's
are now shorter than most lightning strikes and so...that's just an observation I made...on a late Sunday...what the hey.

Today is Iris Day and did you know about me
I have a cousin named Iris in Germany?
An Iris is actually a flower which I didn't know
when it comes to a lot of plants I'm pretty slow
I think I know what Poison Oak looks like after I
had a bad bout of it in 2011 that made me want to cry
today is also No Socks Day so enjoy some barefoot action
just don't slip on a banana peel because you'll be in traction
today is also Victory In Europe Day or V-E Day when we finally defeated the damn Nazi's and I just read an interesting story about it
the date for V-E Day was originally tomorrow
but the press caught wind of it and there you go...Russia stuck to the May 9th date...they still celebrate it May 9th...hello, I'm the History Channel...It's also World Red Cross Day and National Teachers Day.

Today we'll hear from Madame Rootabega, Valentino, and Bison Bentley, PLUS we'll bring you the segment EMAIL FOR ME MAIL, and on NEWS RANDOM, what the hell is Pinhole Photograph?

today is No Diet Day however
which tries to abolish anorexia forever
the day is all about appreciating your body
and not getting swept up in every diet fad you see
today is also Beverage Day so you should try
to stay away from drinks in which their sugar is high
today is also Nurse Day thought International Nurse Day's not till May 12th, if you care
it's also Tourism Appreciation Day
I guess that means if you see a tourist you should say...Hi there friend...welcome to my town...spend a lot of money...then get out!

My favorite Star Wars movie is still the first one, I wish I made it
I have "Lucas envy" which is crazy I admit
but today is Cinco De Mayo, I'll amend,
tomorrow is Seis De Mama so make sure to spend
some time with your mom in person or on the phone
if she likes coffee don't forget to give her a scone
and if you like eating today is also National Hoagie Day and Oyster Day!
Those are two foods that should be nowhere near each other
Now I'll end my song with "word to your mother!"...that word should be "thanks"...since she put up with you...or she sat you in front of the TV and went out...whatever.
