So I'm 44 and I have gone over that hump where women in their late 20's and early 30's don't even notice me.  I am like so much bald male matter fluttering through the modern landscape.  That's fine.  I'm tired of not being able to bring up a 70's or 80's reference without getting a blank stare.  I'm tired of the apathy.  Generation Y just doesn't care.  They're so stressed out of their minds with all the technology they allow themselves to be pummeled by they can't focus on a normal conversation for five minutes.  It's all soundbite/twitter culture.  Yes, I know I'm partly to blame.  People of my generation, the ones that had kids in their teens, raised these children with an over coddled hysteria which is only going to get worse as the generations progress.  I just have to get used to being ignored.  Actually, it's kinda fun.  Less pressure on you when nobody notices you.
