Do you remember a couple years back when Disney had so much success with the Pirates of the Caribbean and they thought, Hey, what other rides do we have we can turn into successful movies?  Then they picked the Haunted Mansion.  And they put Eddie Murphy in it.  Well, I watched it on Netflix last night.  Everyone knows it was a flop and horrible, but I had to see how did they try to solve the problem of making a ride a movie.  And it's so great to finally meet the mysterious voice behind the donkey in Shrek.

Oh, we are SOOOOO active here in the Bay Area.  We're bicycling.  We're jogging.  We're cross-fitting.  One thing we're doing is Go-Pro-ing which is about as vain as you can get working out.  Well, you could be doing aerobics in front of a mirror while wearing your leotard.  Mmmmmm.  Nice.

So remember how corrupt all the health insurance companies were and we thought Obamacare might change that?  Yeah, good one.  Can the government possibly fix the mess that are the phone carrier companies?  Yeah, good one.  There is no Obamacare for phone carriers (Obamacarrier?) but that whole system is completely corrupt.  They are ALL doing whatever they can to screw us.  Especially you, Sprint!  I've got my middle finger up for you!

What a great big world we live in.  It's a world full of people and it seems that the hardest geography to scale is that of humankind.  So many people with points of view that clash with others.  All the great thinkers boiled down their preachings to let's just all try to get along.  But what I wonder is why every relationship I'm in the women become sarcastic and condescending.  Is it something I'm doing?  Am I that way and they're mirroring me?  They are?  Oh, well thanks a lot!  Oops, sorry.

Leaf blowers: they look like lame ghostbusters.  They make a bunch of noise, they pollute the atmosphere, and the do a horrible imitation of wind.  Hate them hate them hate them.  Haven't they ever heard of the rake?  But Mike, rakes make that horrible scraping sound, like nails on a chalk board.  Okay, well then why do we have such a problem with leaves anyway?  Say it loud and say it proud: leave leaves alone!

E-cigarettes.  If you go out on a Friday night you see lots of them especially in the Bay Area.  I prefer people "smoking" those around me instead of stink cig's, but they do look like they're sucking on a pen.  Not that sucking on a pen is wrong or anything unless you end up with a blue tongue.  I'd rather achieve the colored tongue through popsicle.

Today we hear from Benita, the Disgruntled Fiddle Player, and the Brewmaster, PLUS it's the return of the much missed segment called THE BOTTOM OF THE CHARTS where we go back 44 years ago in honor of a very special celebrity.

Why are some people so jumpy?  The other night I was working at my part time radio job and the cleaning lady jumped every time I walked past her!  Part of it was she was blasting her iPod.  Not listening to this show, I'm afraid.  Oo, I just jumped.

There's a war of pysches in the Bay Area: between the Peninsula and the East Bay.  Peninsula has expensive cars, traffic, expensive restaurants, and no shortage of "no U turn" signs.  The East Bay has food trucks, graffiti, tattoos, and sunshine.  Will one side have enough and burn one of the three bridges that connect us?  Hopefully not.  I hope not.

Okay, so I accidentally found the Jess Greenberg you tube videos where there's a young gal playing the acoustic guitar doing covers of all sorts of songs and showing eye blinding cleavage.  I know in this age of fast paced no attention span living you need something to grab an audience and she'll probably have many people take issue with her blatant "eye catching," but she's got a nice voice and she makes that acoustic guitar sing.  It will be interesting if she ever ends up doing any originals.  She needs to be careful that her cleavage doesn't end up getting its own TV show.

Today we hear from Chely Shoehart, Floyd the Floorman, and John Deer the Engineer, PLUS it's the return of the much loved feature DO YOU KNOW DAT? with interesting stories about the world of entertainment!
