So what is up with Andy Samberg
I think his talent has hit an iceberg
he seems to be the one who's always the guy
to put together the Digital Short on Saturday Night Live
his stuff has been so funny, original, and so wit quick
but lately he's doing the same white nerdy hip hop shtick
I think he's mined that subject matter for all it's worth
but who am I to say since I do a song every day here on earth
some may say that I have hit a wall.  Yes, the wall is entitled Mike's lacking musical skill.
So let's see Andy do more funny off the wall characters
he's already more talented than that guy with the last name Sandler.

So it is Sunday and I'll ask you
what the heck am I supposed to do?
I don't watch football though you'll hear later on
that I was actually at a game and it was fun
shall I walk my dog on a Sunday afternoon
yes I shall but what shall come after so soon?
Shall I walk amongst a flee market gathering
and buy some junk over priced despite haggling
the possibilities are limitless and equally uninteresting.  Maybe I should do Christmas shopping.
So figuring out what to do on Sunday's hard
maybe I'll home make a bunch of Christmas cards

Last night I was in a store
I've noticed of turkeys there's a lot more
Thanksgivings coming up
so they're stalking up on that stuff
do you buy the biggest turkey and stuff it in your freezer
we would have to throw out everything like a geezer
to make room for an enormous ice bird
shaped like a watermelon if that's the correct word
we're going to do Thanksgiving at our house so sooner or later we need to get one of those
then comes stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce,
pumpkin pie, gravy, and a lot of dirty pots!

watching "Breaking Away" while I dined
I watched it on a big TV screen on DVD
almost like being in a theater in the 70's
except there were no feathered haircuts in front
just my boxer, Basil, and a box of empty donuts
no, there were no donuts, I made that up
the movie was old and lots of fun
Dennis Quaid is barely 20 years old but he's not the star of the movie.
The movie makes you want to ride a bike
but I hate doing that so I'll just keep being Mike!
